This is an easily accessible group of trails that are appropriate for the whole family, as the grades are easy and most of it is under the tree canopy, so it is lovely and cool in Summer. There are lots of surprises every time I go because there are so many different kinds of animals that use the preserve. It's worthwhile to pack some snacks and make a real outing of it. Birders especially will be thrilled.
What a nice hidden gem! I walked the Bill Craft trail which was beautiful, well marked, and easy to follow. The trail was a bit muddy in places after two days of rain so be aware of that if you have young kids or dogs with you. Great little out and back hike with lots of interesting flora and fungi along the way!
A hidden gem in Greensboro. The trails were well maintained and there was nobody there early Saturday morning. I had the place to myself. I highly recommend visiting
The Longhorn has one of the best Frisco melts I've ever had, and I've been all around the country, although, as to be expected, San Francisco has better.
Fantastic service. Awesome Broasted Chicken and the Coldest Beers around!! Very affordable as well.
It's a good place for a drink and bar food. Not my favorite for a sit down meal. Good people friendly fast service
Awesome place with great food. The wings are some of the best on this planet!
A full bar with really good food, nice variety of burgers and other sandwiches. The chicken wings are big! The broasted chicken is great!
The Bill Craft trail is my favorite trail in Greensboro. It's an easy 6.2-mile (out and back) well marked trail that winds around streams and lush vegetation. The trail is almost entirely shaded and has a small outdoor classroom at the turn around point to take a rest. A real hidden gem!
Beautiful wilderness area right outside of the city. The trails are beautiful this time of year.
