“Just out exploring gravel roads in the middle of the country last evening. See a tall white spire in the distance and had to check it out. Since it was so late, I didn't go inside. It is surrounded by a well kept cemetery and per the sign has an elevator. When one first pulls in, there are brick columns on either side of the drive and a home to drive past. I didn't see any other entrance drives. I now have it on my list to return. Including a pic of the entrance gates, marked class of 1929.”

“This Church is one of the first built in Crete. The stained glass windows were donated by an early patron. The inside is differently shaped and has an actively used second level. It's easy to see where the older area leaves off and the new part (the ARC) begins.”

“I love this church! When my wife and I moved to the area from Fremont we continued to drive back to attend our old church. Then we visited St Johns. We were immediately greeted in a warm and welcoming manner. The pastor also greeted us and made us feel important. The service we went to was the 11:00 contemporary and we knew all the songs and enjoyed the singing. The sermon was what sold us though. Pastor Andreas preaches from the heart and really makes it applicable to my life. I can't imagine a better place to worship and serve God.”
