Nice, mostly good people, did have another camper, hung over, pounding on my 5th wheel demanding 8:15 AM was too early to turn on my generator. It was posted 10PM to 6AM quiet time.
It's nice out here just you and the stars at night
Nice campground surrounded by trees and eucalyptus for shade and privacy. The place is clean and well tended by the state maintenance workers and the camp host. I like that one of the loops is a dedicated "No Generators" area.
I've been here on 4 occasions and the RV dump is always clean and they offer rinse and potable water.
Camping is $20 a night unless you have your senior lifetime pass. Then it's only $10.
We didn't camp, but go to the trail Bluffs that start at campsite #72. It's a well marked trail that takes you along the riverway. There's some loose gravel along the way so be careful of foot placement. Disabled spouse,8 year old,and 10 year old able to walk it with little difficulty. It doesn't loop around so be sure to leave enough daylight for the return trip. Also took 3 dogs and they had no issues either. This was our second trip and still didn't get to walk the entire trail as daylight was receding.
