We went for my wife's birthday and loved it. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable about animals. If you go in the summer, bring refreshments. Your gonna get down and hands on with the animalsso dress appropriately. Enjoy!!
A truly tremendous experience I highly recommend. Guy and Ally were our guides and they love the animals. Also very knowledgeable. Rode the camels, seen a sloth, porcupine and others. And beautiful scenery like no other. Thanks again to the fine people of the camel ranch, had a great time.
The camel ride was great. Getting up close and personal with and feeding all those animals was awesome. The only downsides are the smell that you’ll defiantly have to get used to. And that they don’t really have any snacks there. So you’ll have to bring your own and keep them with you at all times and make sure that none of the animals steel them and eat them as some of them have the tendency to do so. And make sure to bring some sunscreen with you if you are visiting any time during the warmer months as you’ll be outside for at least 2 or 3 hours.
Fabulous tour with extremely knowledgeable guides. Love the 4 Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs that greet you upon arrival & pal around with you on the tram safari! You get to interact & feed a lot of the animals and actually go into their enclosures with the guide. He sits on the floor & they come up to him for affection...its an incredible hands on experience you don't get anywhere else. Loved feeding grapes to the Porcupine and interacting with the Dingo dogs, the camels are adorable & very friendly. Never seen a zebra/donkey before or minature horses. The whole 2 hrs was amazing. Well worth the money.
Um this place is AMAZING. Took my 8 year old in January on a Friday morning (you must reserve in advance). We didn’t sign up for the camel ride because I didn’t realize kids are allowed to ride. I found out afterwards that they are! Wish we had done the ride but the tour was still super cool.
The guide is probably like the smartest person on the planet. She blew me away with everything she told us. She was great with kids too.
Getting to see the camels up close and snuggle with the porcupine was so special and precious. I’ll remember forever.
It is pricey but priceless memories were provided.
