“A great local park with two separate playgrounds and numerous sports fields. There's disc golf, horseshoe pits, walking trails, and plenty of parking. Four giant slides keep the kids busy running up and down the stairs. Makes for tired and happy little ones. There is also a little stream or runoff of some kind that winds along beside the walking trail. I'm not sure if it always has water in it, as this was my first visit, but it had water in it today, just a few inches, but it was nice.”

“Wonderful, quiet park. There is a nice shape to the area with just enough shade during the afternoon but also wide open areas. Taking the pups here is peaceful and they look forward to it every day.”

“Great birding day with my son! We love to come here. The raised pathways around the many large ponds are well-maintained and offer a perfect vantage point for bird watching. There are boardwalks extending out into a couple of the ponds, plus a great watchtower overlooking a large area. The staff members are welcoming and always glad to chat about birds and let us know just where we might sight a special species. Shared a wonderful mom 'n son bird outing and plan a return visit in a couple weeks!”

“Nice park, very quaint. Small yet u leave satisfied from going there. They need more light post for lights at night. But still a good park to go to. The park is dog friendly as well, make sure you bring your poo bags for clean up after your dogs. It's a clean and almost poo free park, which is good for those who like to run around and play. It has a small baseball diamond on one end and a sand volley ball court. Bathrooms, jungle gym, walking path, covered picnic tables, BBQer and a small open field. Like I said small, but you leave satisfied and glad you came.”
