My first time going. Mr. Louis taught me a little about the gambling machines. It was pretty cool.
Stopped by on my way back home to show my kids. They loved it. This wasn't my first time seeing it, but it was for my kids. Nice little pit stop. Don't gamble while there though. Machines are super tight. In the many years I have stopped here and gambled, I have never won ????
Pretty interesting find on your way to Vegas or back. Nice to see a piece of history and be able to read some information. Also there is a movie playing to learn more about what went down
This is an absolute must stop! Its a great place to stretch your legs along the 15. The display is really interesting, we didn't stay around to watch the video in its entirety, but what we saw was interesting. There is no admission, and the display is in the corner of the casino floor.
While in Louisiana I stopped by the Bonnie and Clyde Museum where Bonnie and Clyde had their last meal. It was actually a diner back then and eventually turned into a museum. While there I drove to the ambush site. I eventually discovered that the actual car used by the dual was located in Nevada. I stopped by to check it out and I was surprised that it wasn't propped up in a better location. I don't remember seeing any signs on the highway about it. I had to look it up to see where I should go. I thought the casino could have done a much better job in presenting the material. However, I enjoyed the history and would recommend individuals to stop by to check it out.
