The escargot was perfect! Not over cooked and rubbery! Each piece covered with puffed pastry! The chicken was tasty, but would have been better with the sauce but my youngest was allergic to one of the ingredients. The king crab was some the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, I was confused by the sign. I thought it was $50, but it was 150! Still tasty though! My husband had the croquet Madame, and it was one of the best he’s ever had.
A pure delight, and a "must" now for whenever we are in Las Vegas. Either secure your perfect time (and outdoor seating?) with a reservation several days in advance, or know it is worth waiting (try the bar in the meantime). Furthermore, count yourself blessed if you get to work with Jerry or Amanda, as they took care of us in that wonderful, expert, and thoughtful way that reminded my wife and I that Thomas Keller excels in his standards and training of a great team (in and out of the kitchen) in addition to his world-defining creations.
Yuri, our hostess, was fantastic and so helpful (especially on a beautiful (slammed) Saturday morning brunch).
Jerry swept in after her and made us feel at home in the way a well-run French restaurant does so well. He also made an excellent suggestion for our mimosas, and helped us dial in a brunch order that would have us reminiscing the meal for days to follow.
Amanda swept in and took care of business, and was friendly and helpful all along the way. She personified a wonderful member of a great team (and we hope she and her husband get to a US concert soon).
We had the Ad Hoc Chicken, the Crab Cake Benedict, started with a small seafood tower, and sipped mimosas throughout, and finished with coffee ... and it was all perfect. The slight spice in the cole slaw added a nice kick. The crab cake was sublime. The seafood tower was constructed with care and freshness. The choice of champagne with the orange juice was perfect and light (and even better with pineapple juice), and the coffee settled us into a bed of relaxation, satiation, and a mellow rest of the day.
There are very few places in Las Vegas my wife and I list as worth making every the effort to visit (even if the only time you have is a layover). Bouchon, in the Venetian, is one of those places.
I had an amazing dinner at this restaurant! The bread and butter they served were excellent and set the tone for a great meal. The onion soup was a standout - I've never had such a tasty onion soup before. Their signature chicken dish was also a hit with me, accompanied by a delicious sauce that perfectly complemented the flavors. The overall dining experience was top-notch, with both amazing food and excellent service.
