If I could give her anything higher than 5 stars, I would. I had the pleasure of establishing a professional relationship with her, in the Fall of 2015, as one of her CSN voice students, and that quickly turned into an awesome friendship. Lillian so naturally fosters well-rounded relationships with her students and colleagues, and always provides so much laughter. She takes a genuine interest in you, and always manages to make each lesson greater than the last. With that being said, she means business. She's an instructor first, and will always have your best interest at heart. So, when it comes to your academic and personal progress, she won't shy away from pointing out where you need to pick up the slack. However, she's never ill-intended or haughty; she will tell it like it is, with respect and sincerity. In all my years of working under, and alongside, any kind of musical authority, she's the one who's left a lasting impression. She's very sweet in nature, and always ready to give her all so that you succeed. She constantly has students coming back to say hello or offer their help, because she bridges the gap between instructor and student. She possesses a beautiful voice, and heart. I feel she's prepared me significantly more, and has strengthened my abilities. I'm happy to say she's a lifelong friend.
