Great hike, took the whole family. Beautiful view at the top. Nice little family workout.
It is the highest vantage point in residential Las Vegas area. You can clearly see the Strip from a distance. Medium difficulty, takes about an average half hour to climb up to the top. For safety considerations, I do not recommend climbing up here at night, there is only one way up and one way down so you can easily get lost if you are not too familiar with the trail.
I love this nearby hiking trail. It's somewhat short but I love the scrambling to the peak. If you use the rocks as handholds as you traverse up or down, be careful, because some rocks are spikey and sharp. If it's a windy day be prepared for stronger winds at the peak.
Looks like nothing driving by on 215, but a nice challenge getting to the peak, with low of optional things to do, like a two plus miles run / walk / ride around the base. Great afternoon event with the family!
Great place to go for a family hike. We made it to the top under 20 mins and enjoyed the view. Definitely recommend it for others that like the outdoors. It was a bit scary for my twins once on the very top but they sat down and got more comfortable with it. They loved the journey downhill.
