It's a beautiful place to visit and take family. You'll really enjoy everything they have to offer. And the price is perfect. Bring some water during the hot months. The butterfly exhibit was great and the love animals too. Lots of good history to learn about the LV area.
Great place for the kids and adults to explore old Vegas and get a great history lesson. Great museum and hands-on things to explore. Boomtown train was nice, and I loved the Flash flood demonstration. It's definitely a place to see on your trip in Vegas as a tourist. Must see for locals. Cafe had a nice selection of treats, foods, and coffees. They have a butterfly farm that opens seasonally and will be on my list once it opens.
This place was so much fun! We had spent the whole week drinking and gambling and fancied a break from the strip and old town so jumped in an uber to the springs preserve. Was really lovely to see some wildlife and have a walk around in some greenery. We also visited the butterfly house and museums, the space themed section was brilliant, loads of interactive stuff. I got the impression this place was primarily for kids, but me and my partner had a blast.
Beautiful grounds and great place to enjoy nature. Plan on lots of walking, this is a great location to hike.
The butterfly house was beautiful but not very many butterflies compared to other butterfly house I've visited.
The train ride was a good way to hear of the history of the preserve.
Bring lots of water we had a hard time finding a spot to purchase a bottle in here and you will need it.
Would recommend visiting before 3 PM to be able to see the butterfly habitat. Butterfly habitat closes at 3 PM - truly a wonderful experience to interact with the butterflies. Friendly staff. Lots of parking and lots to see here. Almost no wait time to enter the preserve in the afternoon. Worth visiting if you're in the area. "$9.95 adults, $4.95 children (ages 3-17), free for children ages 2 and under."
