(February 23, 2019, 9:28 am)Wow, what a magnificent trail...s. There were a few alternate routes up the mountain. We tried following the marks or cairns, but eventually gave up and followed whatever trail we saw first --- they pretty much all led to to the top of turtlehead peak anyway.
The incline is fairly steep. Remember that on the way down as your knees protest. Hiking poles helped.
Once you're on top, you're treated to a beautiful 360 view of the surrounding area, including a view of Vegas from afar
