(May 28, 2020, 2:16 am)Wonderful experience. I was birthday dinner shopping out of my neighborhood. Good things - Clean, well stocked, fresh meat, delicious cake, amazing baking potatoes, the best wine selection for a grocery store, friendly helpful staff, even the customers were nice, great meat sales, fresh long stemmed flowers, big trees in parking lot, easy access and exit, roomy isles and the sweetest peaches I ever ate. Bad stuff: expensive meat, limited selection of meat, expensive wine that's cross merchandised so it's all over the store and hard to find, confusing store layout like some architect was trying to be creative without cause. Not enough employees or scheduling issues - is not enough cashier's, no deli help, no meat counter help, but 2 people in bakery??
(June 18, 2018, 11:29 am)This is my most conveniently located Albertson's - just a hop, skip and a jump away from home - and thus my go-to supermarket whenever I unexpectedly run out of an essential item such as milk and the like.
Personally, I find that specifically fruit and other produce (although likely to be somewhat more expensive) is of better quality here than at competing large supermarket chains such as Smith's.
I also prefer Albertson's for fresh meat and seafood - a larger selection of better quality and a lower price than Smith's.
However, I cannot recommend Albertsons for fresh cut flowers, especially the roses at $10.00 per dozen. The petals on these roses already start falling off during transport to your vehicle despite the fact that the sell by/display by date still has many days to go. The comparably priced roses at Smith's are clearly of superior quality!
Pretty much for all of my other grocery items, Smith's is my preferred supermarket since it is consistently less expensive.
Note that if you're at this location and want to take some pictures be sure to do so surreptitiously. Unlike other businesses around town, the Albertsons photo police apparently does not like to have pictures taken despite the fact that their store is open to the general public and thus there is no legal expectation of privacy.
