Had to stop for a quick lunch somewhere and ran into this restaurant so figured I'd give it a shot. Veggie red curry lunch special was really good with a nice assortment of fresh vegetables.
After I ordered I looked up to see the altar right in front of me and the late King's picture. Memories of Thailand filled my heart. Such respect and honor in all they do. Not only a great quick lunch with sweet service. Left with a warm smile in my heart.
Having been to Thailand, I can honestly say this is very close to authentic Thai, only with a slight Chinese twist to some items, such as the chicken and rice soup served during their lunch special. The chicken pad thai was very good, with lots of moisture and flavor. The green curry pork was excellent, with down to earth Thai taste. Small indoor dining area is open during the pandemic. Great Thai tea, too! We look forward to our return!
Food is always completely amazing!!!
Just be sure you call ahead of time if on lunch.
Either way it's well worth the wait.
Best part, I have some left for lunch tomorrow.
That k you for the amazing quality and quantity of deliciousness!!
This is chicken, bean sprouts, green onion and bell peppers with steamed rice.
My lunch special favorite!!
Holy cow! The new owners recipes are flame! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ I've been a regular for 10 years now but this new owner has some serious talent. Just wish they were open nightly til ten. I'm Italian and enjoy eating later.
The lunch special is a good price for a perfect portion of excellent food. I had the mint chicken, and it was perfectly spicy. The egg roll was light and crispy without being soggy, and the sauce for it had a great flavor (in many places it's just blandly sweet).
Sweet and sour chicken and tofu was great, too. The fried tofu was really well done - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The sauce wasn't overly sweet.
Overall great food for a good price. I highly recommend eating there or getting takeout if you're in the area. We stumbled across and I'm glad we did. We'll definitely be coming back.
