It was a great place to wander around before the tour too. Just listen to Shanna and qat h out doe rattlers!
(September 5, 2019, 10:46 am)These people are AWESOME!!! If you're in Vegas and have time for a quick day trip this is only a 40 minute drive. A photographer's dream and so much knowledge on the history of the mines and Nelson Landing. Follow the road to the end and you get an astounding view of the bluest Colorado river.
(August 30, 2019, 6:20 pm)Very interesting, entertaining and educational. Lots of history to learn & enjoy. Definitely something to do while in Vegas. Give yourself about 2hrs to see everything & soak it in.
(August 30, 2019, 6:00 pm)Tour guide Bruce was entertaining and knowledgeable about the history of the area and mine. Going here was like going back in time and the scenery was amazing. Tour of the mine was the best part. Definately a must see for locals and/or visitors of the Vegas area. $15 a person for 1 hour tour is a bargain.

Got married here 4 years ago but didn't get time to stick around as it's in a valley so the sun says bye at like 18:00, we came back for our anniversary for the tour and play on the atv's.
Our tour guide, Sherman was most knowledgeable and facilitating, he gave us a very good enthusiastic and engaging tour with lots of great points, stories and doesn't get boring.
The place itself is full of interesting things to see, just beware of the cactus plants and the rattlesnakes...
