Nice selection of fabric, crafts, fun stuff like holiday socks, and decor.
Easy parking.
Near Cafe, Starbucks, Kohls, and Kaiser.
Get your craft on! It's mental health boost!
Their online inventory status is fairly accurate for yarn. I mostly purchase yarn at this location and it is fairly well stocked, even during sales. Restocking does occur frequently and the website is updated.
Staff are always friendly. The checkout line can get pretty long sometimes, but weekday evenings are always fairly quick.
Sadly, this type of store is disappearing... and it's invaluable! Pillow forms, fabric, buttons, craft and baking supplies, silk flowers, home decor and so much more. This is the kind of stuff you often don't think about until you need it, but when you need it you don't want to wait even 2 days for Amazon. Wander in. See what you can use today... Let's keep them in business so they're there when we need them!
Amazing fish and chips hubby loved the pastrami sandwich said it was the best he has ever had on this coast. Kinda bummed they were out of philly cheesesteak sandwiches but will try those later. Excellent food huge portions.
Delicious!!!! The food is amazing and the hamburgers are GIANT. These ones beat South Lake Tahoe burgers 🍔 Very impressive.
Nice local place. Great diner atmosphere.. really good fries!
First time trying All American and was not disappointed! We got a bacon cheese and a jalapeño cheeseburger. Both were very juicy and tasted great. Onion rings took me back to the good ole burger joints back in the day and the fries were perfectly cooked. Staff is quite friendly. Will definitely make this our Dayton burger place.
The food is usually really good but it's priced so high that, for me, it's not an every day, or even every week or two week endeavor. Getting one of there hanburgers, with fries, a drink and a side will likely push your bill to or past the $20 mark and for someone who is no longer working, that's a lot. You wouldn't think you'd see city prices in s sleepy, rural town like Mound House, NV. But if you're looking for a good, old fashioned, greasy diner meal, you can't go wrong with the Hwy 50 Diner.
