Super epic views, maybe the best in the entire region of Lake Tahoe. Not too difficult, not too easy (uphill). Shuttle service is great and the cafe at the bottom serves solid food to fuel your morning ride, and replenish you upon return. A bit surprised to meet so many riders from around the globe one afternoon, even one lady who was 70 years old and still pedaling like a pro!
website reservation was smooth process.
i would encourage anyone at Flume Bikes who takes a phone call to reserve a bike to really emphasize that the website is easy and it will really work. i am tech challenged, and was nervous when i could not reserve with a human on the phone. but it really did work out.
tech greeted me with excellent sunny disposition. check in was easy.
bike was awesome!
cheers, cw
Top notch outfit. We rented 3 full-suspension bikes, all very new and in great shape. The staff all very friendly and knowledgeable. One of them even bumped into us out on the trail (I think during their lunch break) and stopped to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend.
Amazing shuttle company! Super friendly, right on time. We forgot to pay for parking and Kurt went out of his way to talk to the parking attendant and make sure we didn’t get a ticket. Great people all around
Super easy process in order to get a bike, helmet, and all the gear necessary for an epic ride. Reserved and paid online the night before. You pick what bike you want and what size. The crew at Flume Trail Bikes were very helpful and laid back. All the paperwork was quick and easy to fill out. The shuttling process went very smooth, and the guy driving explained all the routes to take on the trail and answered any questions regarding the trail map. All in all this was an amazing experience. And after you ride the Flume trail you can hit up the cafe one parking lot down from Flume Trail Bikes and get some dope sandwiches and beer. Don't wait if you are in Tahoe, go freaking bike the Flume trail and use Flume Trail Bikes.
