Land Ocean Restaurant Reno

Usually a great place. All of us had great meals except for mine. I ordered the prime rib and it was tough as nails!!! I thought it was very odd that a bar didn’t have Corona. We have eaten there many times and for sure will continue. Hopefully the prime rib was just a fluke. Everyone else with us had a great meal and excellent food! Service was also outstanding as always!!!

Lovely first time eating here and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Had a hard time choosing from such a diverse menu. Place gets busy. Recommend making a reservation if you don’t like waiting.

My friends & I have been to Land Ocean for dinner many times & truly enjoyed every meal especially the Chilean Sea Bass & steak dinners!!👍👍👍 However during my recent trip to Reno we tried their new HAPPY HOUR MENU from 3 - 6 pm Mon through Thursday! The appetizer & various menu selections were excellent & beautifully presented. I had the Wagu beef slider & the chicken skewers & my friend had the crispy chicken slider & artichoke… we both had a glass of wine which was also “Happy Hour” priced! Everything was just delicious!!! LAND OCEAN is our FAVORITE restaurant as the food, service & elegant ambiance is just SUPERB!!! We always look forward to going there for a special occasion or just because we LOVE this wonderful restaurant & friendly & professional staff! We recommend LAND OCEAN without hesitation & give them 10 STARS!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve had steak dinners in several places in Reno and this is by far the best. The calamari is amazing. Not that frozen stuff you find at most restaurants. This is tender strips of fresh calamari, hand battered and fried. The tempura shrimp with the coconut dipping sauce is a must and the entrees are just perfect. I’ve been for dinner and brunch. Everything has been perfect each time. Lastly I have to give a shout out to the servers who have been so great each time.

The burger was to die for and cooked to perfection. The Sea Bass was delicious, a little smaller portion than I thought but delicious nonetheless. Desserts were scrumptious, and the service was probably the best in town.
