I have been meaning to go check out Black Rock Bicycles for quite some time, then I found a new to me bike and took it there to get it serviced. Curtis the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable .
I was pleasantly surprised when I picked it up.
They did a great job at a reasonable price! Friendly staff, clean facility and plenty of parking!
One of the best shops in Reno. Every time I’ve gone in for parts or questions, Curtis gives great advice and opinions for what’s best for me and my bike. All the guys there are helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work.
The best shop for my mountain biking needs, hands down. Curtis, Jason, and crew have always come through in the upgrade, service, and support department. They are real riders that know how to wrench. Every upgrade or fun bike fix has elevated my riding experience. So grateful for their expertise.
Just got a Custom Intense Carbine 29 pro built up here. Curtis built the bike and I have had no issues with it. Really quick build and turn around. I really like going here and shopping as well as drinking beer and hanging out at the shop. When these guys build up a bike they use a lot of grease and lock tight, which makes it last for ever and creak free. You can really tell the difference when these guys build a bike and do service versus other bike shops. Really happy with my new bike. If you want something done right and get great service, this is the place!! Thank you Black Rock for the amazing service over the years and putting so much care into your services.
I rented a bike here before burning man and it was the easiest and most pleasant shopping experience I've had in a very long time. The people here are lovely and helpful, the bikes all held up beautifully in the dusty nightmare we put them through and they even have a little camp at the burn to repair your bikes if anything goes wrong. I HIGHLY recommend this place and doubt I'll ever go anywhere else!
