Steamboat Hot Springs

Overall a really nice time. Perfect weather for the outside tub.

Stayed in Tahoe and drove about an hour to this special Spa. We booked couple massages and the pricing included a 60 minute private mineral soak! We chose the blue room. Staff was fantastic and we left feeling so relaxed.

A very pleasant experience. Did the private outdoor tub for an hour and it was sublime. Highly recommend a visit.

Had a good time here and will be back. Relaxing retreat with my mother. We had the private bath for an hour and then used the outdoor tub for half an hour. Upon coming in, a friendly person greeted us and checked us in. We saw a tea center where you can make yourself fresh tea with fresh herbs. You can make your own teabag with fresh tea spices and a good variety of choices. The water in the private bath was nice and hot. You can control the temperature of your bath. We had a great view of wild horses at the outdoor hot tub. My suggestion might be to have more hangers in the room. Have a big rack in each room with like five huge hangers on it for purses, bags, towels, clothes, etc. My other suggestion might be to remodel the rooms and get rid of tile and grout. New tubs with no grout or tile. I can't quite explain the look but remodeled houses do this to their bathrooms. They have "tile" going all the way to the top but it is very modern and has no grout. It's like a type of wall almost. My bathroom has it.

Booked a private outdoor tub for mineral soaking. They offer free herbal tea and towels. Lydia the front desk is very friendly and would patiently explain their products when you asked.

In comparison to Carson’s, steamboats has softer mineral water, need reservations in advance, has 3 private restrooms/dressing room for outdoor tubs, has sauna room (needs to inform front desk when arrived, $10 on top of the soaking pass), and has message service.

Overall, it’s a great experience.
