Drinks were good as well as as the beef nachos. I didn't like my chicken nachos but I arrived near closing so i couldn't get it changed but it was still a great experience.
This restaurant has definitely lived up to the expectations all around. I came right after work on bartender Oscar Romero's time during Monday Night football (NFL). I got chips and salsa, Creamy Habanero, and Pico De Gallo as chips dipping with a pitcher of Modelo Negra On Tap. As my main course I ordered "El Volcano Molcajete" which is a Molcajete (Lava Rock that my ancestors uses for over 500years) that has sliced grilled chicken, Grilled Chorizo, Grilled shrimps, with sliced grilled carne asada coming out sizzling hot to your table with a side of Rice & beans with your choice of Corn tortilla or flour tortillas. Overall it was the best 5 star dinning experience. Seriously you won't be disappointed 💯
The wife and I have visited twice, both have been delightful experiences. Chihuahua's Cantina has both tex-mex and bar/grill items on it's menu. We focused on the tex- mex.
We were both impressed with the combination plates. You can get a different number of items for a reasonable price. The bonus is that a combo plate comes with dessert.
The interior is the basic modern grill look with some south of the border flair. We asked to be seated in the bar area so that we could watch sports.
Service both times was fantastic.
Great place to host a large party, their menu is large and their drink selection is good 👍 try the fried ice cream, it's delicious! Only issue was wait time but that's everywhere now and days. 🤷♀️
