He also did a cleaning on my sons teeth and was very gentle. He was so sweet to both my kids. The front office staff was so sweet and accommodating. And Dr Whipple was very sweet and knowledgeable, she gave me different options to approaching my sons dental care and I appreciate her insight and advice. “Dr. Mathis has just recently done surgery on my sinuses and a Septoplasty to improve my breathing thru my nose which has greatly improved my sleep apnea ( before surgery Cpap needed to push so much air it had to be strapped to my face so tight it left marks for 5-6 hours after taking it off in the morning) . I am grateful for Dr. Mathis’s Skills as a surgeon. I had surgery for my sleep apnea 26 years ago that was unsuccessful ( Tonsilectomy, Adnoidectomy and roof of mouth reconstruction, that was the options back then ) and thought this was just going to be the way it is. I have been sleeping without the Cpap as I heal and my oxygen levels are in the 80’s ( that’s very good for me as levels were previously in the low 60’s only able to reach 92 with Cpap at very uncomfortable levels that made sleep difficult). Still healing but am certain that surgery has been successful and my Cpap will be much more comfortable at a lower pressure level. Should be able to wear Cpap again in about a week.
