Alf Sorensen Community Center

I could call this place my second home. For a good part of the last twenty years I’ve come here to do water aerobics. I just do my own thing but they have wonderful classes in it also. The staff is outstanding led by pool director Shawn Olson. I love this place!!

Although this pool has been around for awhile (me too) it's well kept and clean.
Having the physical therapy there is great!
There's just something about walking in and taking in all those pool memories from my childhood.
Really there are two things that I wish were different..
More benches in the shower area (I'm a senior with mobility issues) and the daycare needs to monitor the mom's parking in the "only two" handicapped parking spots up above near their entrance. I've had to wait several times while they park there and while I get it "I'll just be there a second ", it's a marked spot for a reason.

Great pool and changing facilities. I'm getting Aquatic Physical Therapy, WONDERFUL Staff.

I just started bringing my children here for lessons and feel confident in the instructors ability to teach my kids how to swim. Shawn, the head leader, is very nice and is constantly asking if everything is going well, which I appreciate. Thank you all.
