Great location with a Mexican restaurant next door and an Arco across the street that’s open 24 hours! Close to 5 freeway, plenty of parking with a dirt lot on either side of property for oversized vehicles. Rooms are really nice and spacious with all amenities including a coffee maker. Good tv selection if nothing else is going on. Breakfast is available but didn’t have time to enjoy. Will definitely save in my maps for next time passing through. Do recommend this location.
Decent hotel. Room smelled fresh, clean, comfortable bed. Clerk was very friendly and quick. Convenient location close to freeway and restaurants. Single bed room was very large. Looks like it had some recent interior updates.
Location was perfect for the weary business traveler I was. Looks like they remodeled; new carpet, bedspread, shower curtain, granite vanity bathroom, flat-screen TV, desk chair. Everything else was clean, in good condition but older furniture. White sheets and towels felt clean and crisp, mattress sturdy, excellent condition. The decor was mostly spring green with a wall painting to match, nice, very nice. I'm sorry their pool/jacuzzi area was closed. Inspection has to get done they said. Breakfast was typical continental. Their coffee was okay but I also made my own with their coffee maker, coffee and my bottled water (it's CA so bottled you must have) and that was better. Cups and coffee are obviously distributed by Wyndham so they are better quality than those miserable cups at Warwick Hotel in San Francisco I just left.
I wish they would do something about insulating the door gaps. Easy, cheap thing to fix. Certainly an oversight for at over 100F it allows the hot air outside to get sucked in and the pretty good air conditioner to work overtime.
All in all, I had a staff quick to respond and a good night's sleep.
Great trails, dog friendly and a fun place to go. Also have mobile restrooms out front.
Nice place for hike
It's basically the best local 'interpretive trail'
And all the puppers.
