“The church leaders are very personable and bible literate. This was so refreshing to see believers that stress the importance of biblical obedience. The service is more like a family bible study with hymns, prayers and the Lords Supper. The atmosphere is warm and familiar... as if you have always been a part of the family. Some times there are only 3 or 4 other times 6-12 in attendance. I know it is because they follow a much narrower path, believe every word of the Bible was inspired by God, and strictly follow Matt 28:16-20, Matt 22:36-40, Matt 7:21-23, Acts 2:38 and 42, Acts 20:7, Mark 7:1-9, 2 Cor 6:15-18, Col 2:8 and 22-23, Romans 12:2, John 8:44-47, John 14:15, Luke 12:48, Rom. 1;25, 1 John 2:15, 1 John 5:3. Luke 14:27. Study these before you attend. Check out their web site. At least you will know what to expect to learn, the truth revealed as it is written, when you come to worship here! Praise God!”

“Gathering church in Reno is truly an amazing place to worship God I didn’t know what to expect since it was my first time visiting the church this weekend as I came up with my close friend Bob and female friend Teresa. I’ve heard a lot about how they minister through the Spirit of Jesus Christ and his love for the people. So bringing my friend and myself I wanted us to have an experience that we would be able to talk about far long after we visited. The main warship was uplifting and upbeat the music was fresh organic and very moving. The sermon was delivered with a little bit of humor and lots of wisdom I could’ve sworn he was talking directly to us. Pastor Ray was able to Baptize my friend Bob who recently became a follower of the gospel from being raised Jewish so I wanted to make sure I took him to a church that practiced Christ love abundantly. We all went out to eat afterwords at the request of my friend Bob and towards the end of the time before we are to leave Bob was it ministered to by Pastor Ray’s wife Deborah who felt a strong presence from the Lord and began to minister to my friend Bob and after she ministered to him she was able to minister to myself I would say that this was the highlight of our time being in there. If you’re looking for a place to belong I would highly recommend this church and the people in it to meet all the needs of the people who live in the Reno Community.”

The consistency of that faithfulness is very apparent on Sunday Worship. The Pastor and Ruling Elders (as well as their wives) are exceptionally godly, faithful and welcoming Christians. We love the integrated family worship, and the expository preaching, as well as the Men's and Woman's bible studies that are available during the week. “This was my favorite church to attend while living in Nevada. Father Jose is one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of working with. I sang in the choir every Saturday night and Sunday before COVID with Terri and Haley Bond. Everyone is super welcoming and nice, I miss Holy Cross. I was very fortunate to get married there in January and the entire staff was really helpful throughout the process. They made our wedding run smooth and we had the highest amount of viewers for the live stream of our wedding!! It was awesome being able to include our extended families on our wedding day while also practicing the CDC guidelines.”
