“You may overlook this barber shop because it's small and it's in Hudson. I know because I normally get my haircut in the city too. But this woman is experienced with all the haircuts you can't explain in English to your old barber. And she has the best prices I've ever encountered. And she does walk-ins. And you will be impressed by the amount of time she spends making sure your haircut is perfect. I have 3 sons. Trust me.”

“If you like the local community ice cream stop, with outdoor seating, this place is for you. It can get quite busy with long lines on local school sporting days, but it is worth it. There is always a special dessert offered (like homemade apple crisp) that is so large 2 to 3 people could partake in eating it. My daughter's favorite is this epic double cookie dough sundae they offer as a special on occasion. The lady in charge is a lovely Southern belle whom is always a joy to talk with. The kiddos that work there are polite and quick with service, as well. Plus, you can get a punch card that can lead to a free kiddie ice cream!”

“Super cute place! Fresh trees and wreaths! They have a petting zoo, you can feed the animals for $1. Free hot cocoa! You can roast marshmallows for $1 by the cozy fire. The trees were a little more expensive than our usual spot but they have a nice selection. Also you can cut your own tree which is awesome!”

“Jerome was the most prompt, efficient and informative electrician we could have hoped for. We had an emergency issue late on a Saturday night and knew no one in our area; when we put out an APB, Jerome was the most responsive of all our calls. He was able to come out the very next morning, and despite having to deal with old knob and tube wiring, fixed our issue within an hour for a very reasonable rate (and we got some interesting history lessons as well!). He's a keeper, and we will definitely be giving him some calls in the future!”
