“Great short(if you want it to be) and scenic little hike. It's not difficult and you can choose to turn around whenever you start getting tired. From the main parking lot you can get to the souhegan River and walk along side it, or you can walk under the power lines and get the bridge over looking the river (which also lead to a residential area by west Chamberlain rd) or you can even get to the HS baseball field!”

“A well maintained trail, takes about 45 minutes to an hour to go around the entire lake. Very quiet and nice place for dogs. There are a couple wood bridges and plenty of sights and sounds and of course there are plenty of beaver dams. Nice spot!”

“Only hiked a small portion of the trail, but it was quiet and enjoyable for the most part. However, the directions lead to “private” road into a recently built housing development, and there is no parking lot... we parked on the side of the road next to a trail entrance. That part of the trail borders the backyards of said housing development, so be ready for that. As we were leaving, a resident drove by and gave us a long look....like we weren’t supposed to be there. The trail signs seem recently updated so maybe it’s just that the directions lead us to the wrong place.”
