(December 16, 2019, 12:39 pm)I went to feuer Lumber today for the first time after going to another local sawmill for 25 years. I was met by a friendly staff. They took all my information and we're happy to set me up with an account. They took my order and had everything I needed in stock. When I went into the yard I was greeted by two employees eager to help me find and load the materials i needed. Out of the 35 pieces of wood I bought from them today only two boards had to be put back on the stack that weren't quite perfect. If you are looking for milled or rough cut wood this is the place to go.

We are putting up a ship lap wall and have been looking for appropriate boards at our local hardware stores with no success. But, when we arrived at Feuer today, we were greeted by one of the friendliest, knowledgeable people of I’ve ever met who quickly showed us 10-20 options. The yard itself is very user friendly, even for the DIY novices like us, and we were able to explore options both in the show room and the warehouse itself. Once we’d made our selection we were pleasantly surprise once again by how affordable our 20 pieces of shiplap ended up being (MUCH more inexpensive than Home Depot or Lowe’s and much better quality products). We will definitely be returning for all future DIY needs! Thanks so much!
(November 1, 2018, 11:18 am)Often used Feuer in the past while we renovate our very old farmhouse. My father used them often and was an excellent finished carpenter. Everyone we have ever spoken to has been incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with. They take pride in their products which makes our decisions much easier. In one instance our flooring we ordered wasn't up to our expectations (the rustic was a little too rustic) and they without question or hassle exchanged it for us without making us feel like we had caused them a headache (which I'm sure we did). Being a family owned business keeps them ahead of their competition. We recommend them to everyone we know.
(June 13, 2018, 11:43 am)knowledgeable staff and very helpful. Willing to go above the standard lumber yards in most towns. They have a large variety of lumber products to choose from and their website is easy and informing.
