A warm and welcoming congregation with a youthful, energetic and progressive Rector. St Peter’s is a relatively young Episcopal Church.
We can’t say enough good things about St Peter’s. If you are looking for a place to grow your relationship with God, come join us. We have been attending St Peter’s for a year. We love how the back drop to the alter is windows that invite nature to frame our worship. And Fr Colin rocks his sermons! You can hear him on the Red Door podcast. This is a warm, welcoming and nonjudgmental place! Fr. Colin's sermons are very thoughtful, thought provoking and well done.
I’ve been a member of St. Peter’s for over two decades and have never found a more welcoming and giving church community, I have lived out of state for a total of 7 years over the time I was a member of the St Peters community and although I searched locally for another congregation that was as warm and nurturing as St. Peter’s I never found one so instead I commuted over two hours each direction in order to celebrate Sunday services with the community of St. Peter’s. I could go on and on about how wonderful St. Peter’s is but to keep it short I will simply say that I have never found a more beautiful group of people than the parishioners of St. Peter’s they have created an environment that works actively to include everyone and these feelings of love and acceptance foster an incredibly spiritual yet down to earth atmosphere where I believe that anyone can feel at home.
