Windham Town Forest Parking

My dog loves this place. Who's woods these are I think I know????????????????

This forest is really clean. I did not see any trash. The parking area is very small. Supposedly there are 3 trails, yellow, orange and red, but I only saw the yellow and orange trails. The yellow is the longest. This area is very peaceful even though you can here cars going by from some area within the forest.

This is a very quiet place within the town. It's a gem really. Be careful to follow the trails closely because it's really big and you might get lost!

Great place for an afternoon hike. Trails have been recently marked in the last year or two with blazes on trees to better guide hikers. Can see old steam shovel and get a couple miles of hiking in on trails suitable for beginners or young kids. Fantastic outdoor resource in Windham.
