My father Roy Howe passed suddenly on November 6, 2017. My family have been long time resident's of Brigantine for 47 years. So our choice for my Dad's arrangements was Keates and Plum Funeral Home. On that day was the first I met Andy and Richard who I never knew were going to hold a special place in heart. I instantly connected with Andy, his kindheartness was a true pleasure. I believe that some people have a calling for certain jobs, he definitely found his calling. Andy was was truly involved in the arrangements and passionate from the beginning of my Dad's arrangements to the end. It was like he was going through the loss with us, sharing in my Dad's life celebration. As I child I remember funerals were awkward and scary, not my Dad's it was a true celebration. My family and I have Keates and Plum to thank for making it an amazing celebration. It was wonderful tribute to my Dad and helped us grieve in a such a positive way to remember him and our memories.
