The old fashioned way I only go here. Friendly. It's like Arby's. I don't mind the wait for an outstanding end product. Paul will always greet you with a smile.
He made my son feel so welcome and "grown up". Our son is seven and has mild sensory challenges and he was calm and not nervous at all. It had been over six months since he was comfortable cutting his hair. We loved Italianos barber shop, and will absolutely be back! As we left my son mentioned that he never wanted to go anywhere else because this place was so so so awesome!
Been getting my hair cuts there for over 20 years, I know cause Paul gave my 20 yr old son his 1st hair cut! Maureen is Awesome and cut my hair the way i like it every time. Never had a complaint!
Although I'm clearly female, my 83 year-old visually impaired father Don) has been a customer of Paul's for 16 years, so he's asked me to write this review in his stead.
As you know, when a man finds a barber he likes, he's a customer of that particular tonsorial parlor until either the customer of the barber is dead, and this is certainly the case with my dad and Paul. They have a wonderful rapport--Paul remembers details of Dad's life...and even of MY life while I'm waiting for him to finish.
Paul's attention to detail is remarkable and does "manscaping" on my dad (ear hair, nose hair trim, and--thank God--his eyebrows which I swear he's going to trip over them one day).
Paul's shop is always clean, neat, and has that wonderful "barbershop" smell. Compared to other "fancy hair salons" (*cough* mine) his expedience is remarkable.
So, bravo Paul!

(609) 625-2430 Both of the barbers, Paul and Maureen, are great. Given the simplicity of my haircut, it's amazing that only my barber back home and the two barbers here can get it correct, but they seem to know the secret of dealing with my cowlick with minimal instructions.
