I see here that some disgruntled individual who loves to write bad reviews about others, also wrote one about the good doctor. This man saved my wife's life three times. He has saved my grandson's life. He is the epitome of what every doctor should be, kind, caring, compassionate, and as many other adjectives that you can think of. ALWAYS takes the time to speak, not just as a doctor but from the heart. ALWAYS returns messages. ALWAYS follows up with results. While most doctors that I have been dealing with for 30+ years have all burned out and lost their bed side manner, this man stands as a beacon of hope for all doctors to look up to.

I recently had surgery at Englewood Hospital under the care of Fred Wolodiger. Having been a patient of his for 8 years, I have always had the utmost confidence in him, not only as a surgeon but as a diagnostic physician as well. An additional emergency procedure was required in the middle of the night. Dr Wolodiger was right there every step of the way, not only takin care of me, but reassuring my family until he could safely say I was out of danger. I can say with complete certainty that I am writing this because of Dr Wolodiger’s attention to every detail of my case. If someone is considering any surgical consult, there is no doubt in my mind that Dr Fred Wolodiger should be on their team.

I saw that there was recently a negative review about Dr Wolodiger. It’s a shame that the person who wrote the review did not identify themself so that the issue could be addressed directly.

Doctor Wolodiger is an excellent doctor, he listens the patient carefully, is very professional, kind and compassionate.I recently had my surgery with him and everything was excellent. The team is very competent and friendly. Doctor Wolodiger is the best surgeon. My best wishes for him. God bless him.

Not only is his expertise to be appreciated, but his friendliness, gentleness in treatment, and, learning we both came from the same area and attended nearby high schools (though I am a lot older), I wish we could be friends.
