I had arrived early for a funeral since I was coming from out of state and had made better time than I could have hoped for, so having had no breakfast, I began to look around the area to see where I might get a quick bite. I found the Englewood diner and parked in their lot. The service was fast and very friendly! The staff treated me as if I were a 'regular' from the moment I stepped inside.
The menu was large and offered a diverse variety of various types of food. The food arrived very quickly and was quite hot and very fresh. I had ordered breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to find out that along with my two perfectly scrambled eggs and truly delicious home-made home fries, that I could substitute two pancakes for the toast. And at no extra charge! The food was delicious! The pancakes were quite large and took up nearly the whole plate they were on I can't remember the last time I went into a restaurant and was seated so fast and the staff was so friendly and helpful ! I hope that one day I might return there and try out some of the other options from the menu
After a hike this meal completely brought me back to life. French onion soup was phenomenal the Greek salad was outstanding the burger… only word which comes to mind is amazing. Crispy unique bun. We also got a Dominican breakfast which was perfect and authentic. The staff was so kind and helpful, Hanna specifically was lovely. I will be back soon that’s for sure. Thank you for an amazing experience!
This my third time coming here I don’t come often but I haven’t been disappointed not once. The service is great and gives you a homey feeling even the type of diner it is you get the same feeling. Breakfast was good had Caramel Pancakes and Turkey Bacon Omelette w/ Homefries & Toast. Will return n not be so long in between with visitation.
Great food and wonderful staff. Even tho they are mainly a diner, they also offer awesome Dominican dishes as well. The 4 golpes was excellent!
Been going here for years but just now got around to leaving a review. The staff are really terrific and working under very ifficult conditions now. It's classic old diner and very convenient for our family.
