Fieldstone Middle School

I was a student at Fieldstone from 1971 to 1975, and it was a great school then. I stayed in touch with Montvale and its schools through my parents, who remained in our family home until their recent deaths. From all reports, the Montvale schools and Pascack Hills High School have all maintained the strengths that I experienced in the 1970s. Although the high school comes in for a lot more criticism than the elementary schools, the only one I'll mention here is the horrible lobby structure added to the middle of PHHS. Would it have been that difficult to design something in the spirit of the original building's mid-century modern architecture?

Good school with solid resources and kind and effective staff.

My kids play soccer here. The turf fields are nice.
