I went to the Chilton ER for severe abdominal pain. They confirmed it was appendicitis and unfortunately they had to remove my appendix immediately. This was my first surgery and Dr Marta made me feel so comfortable. He was very attentive, kind, comforting and answered all my questions. For an unexpected surgery Dr Marta made it a smooth experience. Excellent surgeon!

I had gone to the emergency room with abdominal pain and was informed I would have to undergo gallbladder surgery. Dr Marta was excellent couldn't be happier and during my follow up visit at his office he took his time to explain everything and patiently answered all my questions.

I entered Valley Hospital with severe abdominal pain to learn I needed my gallbladder removed. Dr. Marta was my surgeon. He was amazing. He told me my surgery was a hard one since my gallbladder was one of the biggest he has seen. He was able to do the surgery laparoscopically which I am very thankful for. On my follow up with him in his office he took the time to discuss with me all things I needed to talk about. He never made me feel rushed. Even when I brought up something he said which bothered me. He took my comments very well and we had a very good conversation about my concerns. I truly felt he heard me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Marta.

It was my first time meeting Dr. Peter for hernia. My wife recommended him he is very professional and great bedside manners. He was at another location and I know he will be just as good or even better at this new location.
