  I can't say enough good things about this wonderful parish. As a non-orthodox family, we were welcomed warmly by parish members. Sometimes it's hard to feel welcomed at a church that is not your own, but every time we go people have been so kind. My 2 year old daughter loved it. Lots of families and kids. The priest is a very kind and humble person, who gives excellent homilies and makes you feel welcome. As to the liturgy and environment, they are among the more beautiful I have witnessed, and I have been to numerous Orthodox and Eastern Catholic parishes around the country. More importantly, the spirit of Christ feels present here, it is a wonderful place to seek and encounter Him!

  Moving to New Jersey and leaving behind my beloved home parish in California was tough. Through the prayers of the people at Christ the Savior, through the guidance of the priest Fr. Leonid, thanks to God I found abundant spiritual nourishment and consolation here. If you are struggling, if you are spiritually hungry, if you are simply searching for more beauty and joy in your life, the Vespers service on Saturday night is a must.

  I attended my first Divine Liturgy at Christ the Saviour. It was such a different experience coming from non-denominational churches. It was so reverent and beautiful. I felt welcomed right off the bat and made strong connections with the priest and parishioners. Fr. Leonid and his family are so lovely. I highly recommend visiting this Orthodox church.
