Hages singing/voice lessons

I have been studying with Judy now for about 10 yrs. As I look back at the beginning of the training I am Amazed at the progress I've made. I never had any training in voice but was curious about lessons. Judy has been able to take me through the process of voice training. I have been able to understand the technique of Belcanto training and still learning other components of it. It provides your voice with strength, growth, gives you tone, range, skills to master this technique. Judy will guide through each phase of this process with her knowledge, patience, wisdom and professionalism. She is like your personal mentor! She will help you develop artistry in your voice, along with stage presence and public performance.

I have been a student of Judy Hages for almost two years and I am continually amazed by how much my voice and technique has developed over these past few years. In my lessons with Judy I am strengthening my voice and expanding upon my range and tone quality. Judy is an insanely talented woman with the biggest heart and the best personality. Her knowledge of the voice and all its components helps all of us, as her students, improving our voices and also teaching us how to preserve abilities. I had taken voice lessons from other teachers in the past, the result was not impressive. I was still singing with tight muscle and had no range. I thought I can't sing but not until I found Judy, her training is very precise and unique, you just have to follow her teaching and practice daily, in a short time you will notice a big improvement. You will build strength and increase your range. Among all the teachers I had before, she is by far the best teacher. I am no longer singing with tension in my throat, now I am singing with bigger voice, more range and had control of my own voice.

Judy is a talented teacher. She always inspires and motivates her students. She listens, pays attention to the need of her students, gives more than 100% to help her students to achieve their goals. She has helped me tremendously and I know she can help you as well.

So far I have been working with Judy for a year and a half. She is the most motivated, talented, intelligent coach you will ever encounter. Judy truly takes each of her students careers in the palm of her hand and helps mold each individual into the best they can be. This practice sets you up to succeed and is meant to be taken seriously. If you come to Judy with a great voice it will only get better and strengthen within every tone, putting color and highlight and building your voice up to be the strongest most unique voice it can be. For me this is what I have experienced, because I went to Judy with a voice. On the other hand there are people that have went to Judy with no voice at all, a damaged voice, or just no range and with that she completely transformed their voices not only into healthy singing voices but with amazing range and every tone with a crisp unique sound. We all just say she works magic haha but she is a musical genius and I trust any guidance she gives whether it's for my voice or my career. So five stars for my mentor and your future voice coach!

I have studied with Judy Hages for 10 years and she is excellent. I was primarily a guitarist and I just started studying voice because I would lose my voice when I sang out. Judy taught me how to take care of my instrument, I sang out over 100 shows last year and never lost my voice once and she taught me how to sing with artistry and beauty and to get the richest tones possible.
