I just love roaming through here as I shop my groceries. It’s a huge marketplace with a huge selection, fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, snacks, appliances, you name it. There are also other shops that sell bread, alcohol, clothing, toys, cosmetics, and more. Sometimes they give out free samples of fruits at the front!
The parking area is big so you shouldn’t have too much problem finding one but sometimes it does get packed.
Like people have already mentioned, ALWAYS check your receipt. I ran into a few occasions where the cashiers accidentally scanned and put the wrong price. I had to come back, bring the product and receipt and show it to them. They will refund you the amount. It’s annoying but I get it, there’s so many people in line so cashiers rush and make mistakes. So just check your receipt right then and there.
This doesn’t compare to the regular H-Marts. It had everything you can think of and everything was so well organized. There are so many aisles that are color coordinated which makes it so pleasing to look at. Didn’t think there would be so many different type of flavors of a certain items. They have food stops inside as well so it’s not only just the market itself. Specifically this one stop they have different type of onigiri - you can also watch them make it in front of you.
Big, really big, and the store covers a wide range of east Asian products. I particularly like this one because it has a Japanese section in the back, a small foot court and a liquor store outside. It is impressive for someone coming from NYC. The fresh vegetable station is one my favorite spots inside the store. Although they carry strong odor products like Kimchi or fresh seafood, they have a good ventilation system to keep the air relatively free from the unpleasant smell, good job!
Lots of variety including house ware and cooked foods (much more choice than smaller Hmart Fresh). However prices can be pretty high for things like eggs, easily 50% more than comparable eggs at TJ. Fruits and vegetables aren’t very fresh but has decent Asian choices.
As a loyal H-mart customer for years, this H-mart, so far, is the biggest and best of them all! Endless edibles, excellent varieties of cooking utensils, freezers full of every convenience food or the freshest items for the connoisseurs. From candies to cosmetics. Dont miss fantastic authentic cuisine at spacious food court. Menus are a foodies dream.
