I was required to email her for a school project about a piece of legislation she had introduced and she got back to me quickly. The legislation she had introduced allowed NPs and APNs to sign death certificates in cases where no MD was available. She was advocating for nurses and that speaks to me, as there are very few legislators who stand up for nurses.
Wow ! Seems there is a lot of hate out there.
In my experience, State Senator Weinberg is very intelligent, caring, and responsive to her constituent's needs and problems.
She may be 83, but she is very sharp mentally and intellectually, and looks at issues from a balanced point of view.
We are very fortunate to have her represent us (although we may not agree with her always).
She is a dedicated politician and I see she takes action and gets bills passes to improve our community.
