“I went to Polished Pub for a blowout and eye makeup for a wedding I was going to. The owner Natalie is so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. We discussed the style I was looking for and she explained what she was going to do. She washed my hair thoroughly (she even has these neck pillows, which makes the experience much more relaxing and provides support for your head) and blew out and styled my hair. I decided at the last minute to get my eye makeup and lashes done, and the woman who did my eyes did a great job as well. Clean salon, down-to-earth, and gorgeous design. Natalie even took a bunch of pictures and videos for me. Will absolutely return for another wedding that I’m attending in the fall!”

She took time to listen to my needs, review photos and discuss options to update my hair of 7 months’ growth and much gray. Covid precautions are taken seriously with temp check, questionnaire and hand sanitizer application on entering. I was looking for an item and not only did he walk around and help me find it but he also suggested gift items and I did need a few gifts for the holiday. I went in to buy a gift item that was in the circular for my beautician and they were out of stock on what I wanted and he went into the back and found me something different that I was able to buy instead. I actually bought more than one gift and some stuff for myself because he was so patient. I felt like I was at a real swanky store and I've been to Ulta many times in the past and never had that kind of customer service. He's a hard-working guy. When I walked in he was behind the register unloading a box of all kinds of stuff. I know that their regular people that stock the shelves and do sales do not work on commission and it was nice to know that he was this much of a help without even having anything extra in it for himself. He seemed like someone who generally enjoys his job.”

This was obviously very upsetting to this person. This was proceeded by insulting the receptionist as well as the establishment as a whole. Putting things in perspective... the fee was $1. Perhaps the person mistakenly said a tax instead of a fee. We all make mistakes. This is actually being done by multiple establishments. Many don’t accept credit any longer. In regards to the receptionist, I have never found her to be anything but warm and honest. To make such harsh comments based on $1 and an off experience with one person was very uncalled for. This persons experience is not a typical one. I am also still baffled by the ridiculous raid/cheater comment! Wow... bizarre.”
