“I have been studying piano performance and music theory with Frank King, the entrepreneur of FRK PIANO STUDIO for about six years. Initially, Frank conducted an analytical assessment of my musical aptitude to determine the curriculum that would best suit me. This was the first stage of what Frank calls "Individualization". Frank is NOT a cookie-cutter instructor by any stretch of the imagination. He personalizes each lesson to maximize each student's productivity. Frank continually tweaks my music to motivate me and enhance my progress through the introduction of new techniques that are readily applicable to other selections. Many of my compositions are arranged or rearranged by Frank. I especially like the emphasis that Frank places on repertoire and experimentation. He strongly encourages having a collection of selections that can be performed at a moments notice. I am prepared to perform spontaneously. Experimentation under Frank's guidance has permitted me to modify my performances to the point where they are "signature pieces".
