First time going to the Mansfield park lighting and it was great. Big toasty bonfire, free cookies and hot chocolate, a lengthy, enjoyable hayride through town, live performance of Christmas music by the local school, and even a nice setup with Santa for you to take your own pictures. You can tell this event is run by dedicated volunteers, who really put a lot of energy and effort into it. I was especially impressed by the participation of the local fire department, who tended and supervised the fire, directed traffic throughout town and were just pitching in where needed. Great event!

This nice park in the heart of the village of Columbus is the current northern trailhead for the Kinkora Trail.
