“Gil is awesome! I am a liveaboard on a sailboat and am spending this winter in Philly. I decided to have the boat wrapped but with an added structure and clear shrink wrap, as we live on board all winter. I called all over and no one would take the job. Finally, I got ahold of Gil who, not only did the work, but did an awesome job. Its a complex job but he did his research and showed up prepared. Can't say enough positive things about him. Highly recommended.”

“This place is not extravagant. There's no real seating, I think there was 3 seats. There were quite a few washers and dryers that were marked out of order. However, with that being said the folks there are kind and friendly and very willing to help with your laundry needs. There are a good number of different sized washers and plenty of hot dryers. I paid $2.75 for double/triple size washer EXTREMELY INEXPENSIVE! Dryer was $0.25 for 6 minutes and a small load of clothes was dry in 18 minutes! There is plenty of parking and several places within walking distance to grab a drink or a bite to eat. If and when I need to be back in the area for work I will visit here again to do my laundry. I definitely recommend this place over any other in the area!”

“After going to 6 different places looking for a replacement plug to an old big screen projection tv and finding nothing, I stopped by Barracks Trading Post because of all of their vintage audio/video equipment. I talked to one of the guys there named Jay. He said they don't have that but that you could easily cut that cord, solder it and attach a new plug. I said, easy for you but not me. I know nothing about electric and wouldn't even want to try. He said he would do it for me. Took him less than 10 minutes to make me another cord that I couldn't find anywhere. Then to top it off, he wouldn't take any money for his work. After a couple of minutes, I threw a few bucks up and said at least let me pay for the new cord. The guys that work in this place are great. Very nice and smart guys that probably could fix just about any of your old equipment that is hard to find parts for. Plus, the store is filled with great vintage stuff. Can't say enough great things about this place. I will be back.”

“Adorable library that gives a cozy feel. The staff have always been very helpful and welcoming. The children's area is bright with a lot of toys and spaces for children to play in. There are weekly story times, monthly clubs for older children, and plenty of adult programs - all free! The library is clean and tidy. If they do not have the item you are seeking they kindly provide a service to request it from another library in the system. The museum passes have saved my family a lot of money.”
