It is a gift in life to have a mentor, who positively inspires and directs our growth: mentally, physically and spiritually. The long-term impacts are felt for years, as we ourselves have the ability to lift up others in the same healthy manner. Thus the teacher continues to teach through the eyes of others. Peter has become that trusted coach and mentor in our family.

My son was struggling with growth, social and focus issues when we approached the idea of him training in martial arts. Peter became the mentor that he needed to grow. He is a positive, focused, structured, leader who mentors by example. My son loves the way he relates lessons to how we live our lives. It’s a joy to see howler son's confidence has blossomed. We credit Peter with having a profound influence on our son. For that we are grateful.

I have known Mr. Liciaga for 2 years now and I always look forward to training with him. He is a very enlightening instructor and also a very good teacher. I always feel like I am gaining a new perspective every time I come to train, not just by what he teaches on the mats, but also by what he says and how he has applied what he has learned to his life. He is a very understanding person which is something I needed given my health situation, he is not judgmental and is very encouraging and supportive.

The Macy's have known Peter Liciaga for many years. Our son has been practicing karate since the age of three. He is now twelve. Master Liciaga has been and still is a role model for our son. He demonstrates strong leadership skills, is an awesome listener, and has always been there for our son. He does not judge when our son is not perfect or doesn't make the best choices. Instead he'll ask what was learned from making that choice. Peter is always positive, smiling and easy to talk to. He supports what our son does outside of karate and encourages him to always do his best. We are grateful to have him in our lives and are better people because of him.

Master Liciaga treats you child as if they were his own. He understands children of all ages. His mastery of karate is amazing. We are so lucky to have him guiding our children. Thank you for all you do and all you have taught our children!
