“Beautiful building, the centerpiece of historic Batsto Village. It was once a home to the family of Joseph Wharton, the founder of the prestigious Wharton School of Business. The house interior was off-limits and there were no guided tours during our visit so we just took pictures from the outside.”

“Nice, well cared for campground. Has fire rings and a pit toilet. Or you can use the really nice bathrooms right across the street at Crowley’s Landing. When I camped here there was a gentle white cat that kept begging for food.”

“The Welcoming Center was very informative with many designs and displays. Due to a knee surgery, I was unable to walk around the property to see the various buildings. They enjoyed themselves.”

“We stayed here the weekend of the cranberry Festival in Chatsworth. The campground provided free transport to and from cranberry Festival. They also extended the stay n Sunday from 11 to 4 because of the festival. So we were able to stay an extra 5 hours and enjoy our time camping for free. We were checked in by a nice lady named Kathy who was helpful. I found all the staff to be very friendly and nice. We are looking forward to going back next year.”

“A good stop off on your way down wading river. It’s a busy place on the weekends, boaters and tubers getting off and on there so maybe not the place to beach yourself and eat lunch but nice nonetheless!”
