Very pleasant staff and was quick to pick up there. They knew what I was picking up and got me loaded right away. Tiny place but big on pickles. Smells good in there makes me want a by her to place those pickles on. Great job Kaplin & Zubrin.
The best dam pickle I've ever had and their pickled tomatoes are great too
I've never been inside the actual facility in Camden, but have driven past a few times. I have had K&Z pickles and can say they are quite delicious! A tad bit on the garlicky side, but good none the less. Another great product of South Jersey!
It's weird, I was eating Zayda's spicy pickles one day from Philly, and I said to myself, "I wish I could get these in regular and not spicy".. So I called Steve the Pickle Man and ordered 2 jars of Zayda's regular pickle chips. Low and behold I get a plastic bottle with not a Zayda's label, but a Kaplan & Zubrin Label.. Very odd indeed. Now whether or not these pickles were made by Zayda's or K&Z, they were GREAT! (in the TOny the Tiger voice).. Some of the best pickles I have ever had. So juicy and the flavor was just right. And the chips were cut nice and thick and had such a nice crisp to them. Does K&Z just package and label pickles, or are they the actual makers of the pickles? Their website is very vague and does not specify this. Now I know Zayda's make their own pickles and other things but I am not sure if they make the plain Kosher pickles or not. I know they make the spicy ones though. I'd appreciate anyone that can enlighten me.
