Great experience for kids and family
Variety of activities , lots of fun and you get to touch shark and string Ray fishes too.
We purchased annual pass for our kids (ages 2-10) and enjoyed our frequent visits this past year! We live over an hour away in the Northeast corner of MD, but it’s an easy drive up I95 and the aquarium has plenty of easily accessible parking.
Weekends and summer days when school is out can be quite crowded, but there is plenty to see. Our kids love the interactive “touch” tanks (tiger sharks, starfish, stingrays, etc). The 3D movies are also usually a hit. Make sure to plan checking out the penguin and hippo during feeding time. The marine biologists are quite knowledgeable, and friendly—they love answering questions from the kids.
The cafe food is quite pricey, and lines can be very long, so we usually pack our own lunch.
My 2nd boy is super interested in Marine Biology, so this membership has been exciting and has really fueled his interest. Well worth the cost of the membership!!
Fun place, I would give it 5 stars but I think it would do better if they didn't charge quite as much ($80 for 1adult, and 2 kids) went through in about 2hrs. It is clean, great attractions for little ones.
Great time. The kids enjoyed themselves. Wasn't overly pricey and had a good time. Kids love going to the zoo so this a great winter replacement. It's also very good that it's somewhat educational without forcing education. Great way to get the electronics put down.
