(November 8, 2019, 6:21 am)Best deli and pickle bar in the area. Sandwiches are stacked with meat. As close to a New York City deli you can get here in the suburbs. Deserts are good too if you manage to save enough room for them.

I was wrong.Looking for mouth watering corned beef that needs nothing but your mouth, home made French fries like your mother used to make, a pickle bar to die for and you have the perfect ingredients for an old school Kosher style deli that will fill your belly

Me shipmate friends and I drove 45 minutes to eat at The Kibitz Room and it was worth every mile!
On advice from my knowledgeable friend, I had the corned beef special sandwich with potato pancake and sour cream. Yum! I've never seen so much meat in a sandwich.
You also get the pickle bar with that. The pickled tomatoes weren't my thing but the rest of them were quite good.
We also had egg creams in memory of our dear shipmate Ed. There's no egg or cream in it, of course. It's a chocolate milk soda. Quite good! We will definitely go back again.
