This is a very pretty park for families and individuals. The path is great for walking or running, and is mostly flat. People are always fishing along the banks of the lake. There is an area with picnic tables and a children's playground. In the summer, it can get pretty hot walking in the sections where there are no trees to provide shade.
Newton Lake was great! It was beautiful and fairly clean. We loved that it provided the option to make the trip as short or as long as we wanted, since there were multiple spots to continue further or cross around the lake.
