  I was looking for a good independent instructor when I found Jack on the internet. His resume is great, so I decided to take a couple of trial lessons. Four years later, I’m still going. From the start, Jack took time to get to know my current skills and musical interests – and structure lessons accordingly. He’s an excellent instructor, but what’s most impressive is his ability to listen to a song and identify the rhythm, chords, and melody line. He can pick up a pen and write out a song as easily as most of us would write a letter. And now I have a nice little custom-made anthology of my favorite songs. Years ago, I signed on for lessons at a large music store. The instructor could play, but she couldn’t teach. I got frustrated and quit. This time I did my homework on Google and when I found Jack, I found a talented musician and instructor, whose passion for the guitar is contagious.

  I was given a gift of 6 weeks of guitar lessons and did not really expect to continue after they finished. But I have enjoyed my lessons with Jack so much that I am still taking 1 & 1/2 year later. Jack has really fit the lessons to my skill level, allowing me to progress at my own pace. He always balances structured teaching with a chance to work on songs the pupil wants to learn. He's been extremely flexible with my schedule; when I have a work commitment, Jack is always willing to work out a longer lesson within a week or two. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a guitar teacher in the area to give Jack a try.

  My daughter has been taking guitar lessons for close to a year with Jack Prucella. After much research, I chose Jack because of his experience, dedication to music, and his excellent teaching skills. He's a fantastic instructor -- we actually travel 1/2 hour to come to Haddonfield for lessons. I highly recommend Jack!
